Flyvevåbnet, the Danish Air Force, is the aerial service branch of the Danish Defence. It is responsible for defending Danish airspace, providing air support to ground and maritime operations, conducting transport and logistics missions, and performing search and rescue operations. The force also participates in international missions as part of NATO and other alliance efforts and works with civilian authorities in times of crisis.
