Floculatie
Flocculatie is a process used in water treatment and other industries to aggregate small, suspended particles into larger clumps called flocs. This aggregation is typically achieved by adding chemicals known as flocculants or coagulants. These chemicals neutralize the electrical charges on the surface of the suspended particles, which normally repel each other and remain dispersed. Once the charges are neutralized, the particles can come closer together. Flocculants then help bridge these particles, forming larger, heavier flocs.
