Flateflaters

Flateflaters are a hypothetical species of fictional creatures that inhabit the planet Xylos. Their defining characteristic is their remarkably flat, disc-like bodies, allowing them to easily navigate the dense, low-lying flora of their homeworld. These creatures are primarily herbivorous, feeding on the nutrient-rich mosses and fungi that carpet the Xylosian landscape. Flateflatters possess a unique method of locomotion, utilizing a series of undulating membranes along their perimeters to propel themselves across surfaces. Their sensory organs are distributed across their entire upper surface, enabling them to detect vibrations and chemical changes in their environment with remarkable sensitivity.
