Fjölkjarnaörgjörvum, a term in Icelandic, translates to "multi-core processors" in English. This refers to a type of central processing unit (CPU) that contains two or more independent processing units, or "cores," on a single chip. Each core is capable of executing instructions on its own, allowing a multi-core processor to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, a capability known as parallel processing.
