Fireenduring

Fireenduring is a term used to describe the ability of certain organisms or materials to withstand and survive exposure to fire. This resilience can manifest in various ways, from physical adaptations that protect against heat and flames to physiological mechanisms that allow for recovery after a fire event.

In the natural world, fireenduring species are common in ecosystems that regularly experience wildfires, such as savannas and chaparral. This is a critical factor in construction, where fire-resistant materials are used to limit the spread of flames and allow for safe evacuation.
