Finnicspeaking refers to communities and individuals who use Finnic languages as their primary means of communication. The Finnic language family, a branch of the Uralic languages, includes Finnish, Estonian, and several minority languages such as Karelian, Võro, Seto, Livonian, Izhorian, and Veps. Finnicspeaking thus covers a spectrum from the national languages of Finland and Estonia to minority languages with limited speaker populations in Russia, the Baltic states, and Scandinavian countries.
