While often referred to by its development name, it was also informally known as "Pulqui II Fierza" in some contexts, stemming from the Spanish word for "force" or "power," reflecting its intended role as a combat aircraft. The Pulqui II was a technologically advanced design for its time, featuring swept wings and a turbojet engine. However, it did not enter widespread production or service.
