Feywilds

The Feywild is a parallel plane of existence often described as the magical echo or opposite of the Material Plane. It is a realm of vibrant, untamed nature, where seasons can shift in moments, and the very air hums with potent magic. Time flows differently in the Feywild, often moving much faster than in the Material Plane, leading to inhabitants aging considerably faster or experiencing only a few days while years pass elsewhere.

The landscape of the Feywild is characterized by its exaggerated beauty and wildness. Forests are impossibly ancient, flowers bloom in impossible colors, and rivers sparkle with an inner light. The moon and stars are said to be closer and more prominent. The Feywild is populated by a wide array of fey creatures, including elves, satyrs, pixies, sprites, and the powerful Archfey who rule over various domains within the plane. These beings are often capricious, driven by emotions and ancient pacts, and their morality can be alien to mortals.

Travel between the Feywild and the Material Plane is often facilitated by ancient portals, natural rifts, or through specific rituals. These crossings can be unpredictable, and those who wander into the Feywild may find it difficult to return, or discover that returning has come at a great cost. The Feywild is a place of wonder and danger, where illusions are commonplace and promises carry immense weight.
