Feszültségforrás

Feszültségforrás is the Hungarian term for a voltage source. A voltage source is an electrical component or device that supplies a voltage difference between two points. This voltage difference can drive an electric current through a circuit. There are two main types of voltage sources: ideal and real.

An ideal voltage source is a theoretical concept that provides a constant voltage regardless of the current drawn from it. Its internal resistance is considered to be zero. In reality, no such perfect voltage source exists.

A real voltage source, also known as a practical voltage source, has a non-zero internal resistance in series with an ideal voltage source. As the current drawn from a real voltage source increases, the voltage across its terminals decreases due to the voltage drop across its internal resistance.

Common examples of real voltage sources include batteries, power supplies, and generators. Batteries store chemical energy and convert it into electrical energy, producing a DC voltage. Power supplies convert AC voltage from the mains to a stable DC voltage. Generators convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, typically producing AC voltage, although DC generators also exist. The voltage provided by these sources can be either direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC), depending on the specific application and the nature of the source.
