Fernwärmenutzung refers to the utilization of district heating, a system where heat is generated centrally and distributed to multiple buildings through a network of insulated pipes. This centralized heat generation can come from various sources, including conventional power plants, waste incineration facilities, geothermal energy, solar thermal collectors, and biomass.
