Felhasználhatóságon refers to the quality of a system, product, or service that makes it easy to use and satisfying for its intended users. It is a crucial aspect of design and development, aiming to ensure that users can achieve their goals effectively, efficiently, and with satisfaction.

Key principles of usability include learnability, which is how easy it is for new users to accomplish basic tasks; efficiency, how quickly experienced users can perform tasks; memorability, how easily users can re-establish proficiency after a period of not using the system; errors, how many errors users make, how severe these errors are, and how easily they can recover from them; and satisfaction, how pleasant it is to use the design.

Usability is not the same as user experience (UX), though it is a significant component of it. While UX encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with the company, its services, and its products, usability focuses specifically on the ease of interaction with the product itself. A product can be usable but not provide a good user experience if, for example, it is technically sound but lacks emotional appeal or brand connection. Conversely, a product with a great user experience might still suffer from poor usability if users struggle to achieve their intended tasks.

The concept of usability is applied across various fields, including software development, web design, industrial design, and human-computer interaction. By focusing on usability, designers and developers aim to create products that are not only functional but also accessible, intuitive, and enjoyable for their target audience, ultimately leading to greater user adoption and success.
