Fckfs

Fckfs is a Linux file system designed to optimize performance in large-scale storage systems and cloud computing environments. Developed by Oracle Corporation, it is based on the Network File System (NFS) protocol and intended for use with ANFS-enabled networks.

The Fckfs file system provides low-latency and high-throughput performance by optimizing buffer transport and caching. It allows for efficient parallel access to disk-based data by using a 32-bit global directory based on a 32-bit master inode boundary. This directory enables fast data access and simplifies store and recover tasks.

Fckfs can work as a standalone file system or in conjunction with other file systems. It supports most file system features, including symbolic links and access control lists.
