Fargetoner

Fargetoner is a term used in Swedish and Norwegian to describe color tones. The word derives from farge, meaning color, and ton, meaning tone, and it is used to refer to hues that share a common base but vary in lightness and saturation. In color theory, fargetoner denotes colors within a hue family that differ in warmth, coolness, or muted quality.
