Faíscas
Faíscas, the Portuguese word for sparks, refers to small, incandescent particles ejected from a burning or incandescent material. They are typically generated by friction, impact, or rapid combustion. When a material is heated to its ignition point or subjected to sufficient force, tiny fragments can be liberated and, due to their high temperature, emit light. The color of faíscas can vary depending on the chemical composition of the source material and its temperature. For instance, iron heated to extreme temperatures produces bright yellow or white faíscas, while other elements might produce red or orange ones.
The phenomenon of faíscas is observed in various contexts. In metallurgy, striking steel against flint generates
