FUOYE

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti, often abbreviated as FUOYE, is a federal government-owned university located in Ekiti State, Nigeria. It was established by the Nigerian government in 2011. FUOYE is situated across two campuses: the main campus in Oye-Ekiti and a second campus in Ikole-Ekiti, which was formerly the site of the Ikole Ekiti State University.

FUOYE offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various faculties, including Arts, Education, Engineering, Management Sciences, Sciences, and Social Sciences. The university is committed to providing qualitative education and fostering research and innovation. Its establishment was part of a broader initiative by the Nigerian government to increase access to tertiary education and address the growing demand for university places.
