Fényexpozíció

Fényexpozíció refers to the total amount of light that falls on a photographic sensor or film during the process of taking a photograph. It is a crucial element in determining the brightness and overall appearance of an image. Understanding and controlling light exposure is fundamental to achieving a well-exposed photograph, which is neither too dark (underexposed) nor too bright (overexposed).

Three primary factors control light exposure: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Aperture, controlled by the lens diaphragm, determines the size of the opening through which light enters the camera. A wider aperture (smaller f-number) allows more light in, while a narrower aperture (larger f-number) restricts the amount of light. Shutter speed dictates the duration for which the camera's sensor or film is exposed to light. A faster shutter speed allows light for a shorter period, and a slower shutter speed for a longer period. ISO refers to the sensitivity of the camera's sensor or film to light. A lower ISO setting means less sensitivity and requires more light, while a higher ISO setting means more sensitivity and can capture images in dimmer conditions, though it may introduce noise.

The interplay of these three elements is often referred to as the "exposure triangle." Photographers adjust these settings to achieve the desired exposure and creative effects, such as depth of field (controlled by aperture) or motion blur (controlled by shutter speed). Modern cameras often have automatic exposure modes that assist in setting these parameters, but manual control allows for greater artistic expression and precise control over the final image.
