Eysturkommuna
Eysturkommuna, meaning "East Municipality" in Faroese, is a municipality in the Faroe Islands. It was established on January 1, 2009, through the merger of the former municipalities of Gøtu, Leirvík, and Funningur. The municipality is located on the island of Eysturoy, the second-largest island in the Faroese archipelago. Its administrative center is located in the village of Norðragøta.
