Excitatiepulss
Excitatiepulss, often translated as excitation pulse or stimulus pulse, refers to a brief electrical or chemical signal that triggers a response in a biological or electronic system. In biology, an excitation pulse is fundamental to the transmission of information within the nervous system. Neurons, for instance, generate and propagate action potentials, which are essentially excitation pulses, to communicate with other neurons, muscles, or glands. These pulses are characterized by a rapid change in the electrical potential across the cell membrane, allowing for swift and precise signaling. The intensity and frequency of these pulses can encode different types of information.
In electronics, an excitation pulse serves a similar purpose, initiating a specific action or state change
