Evrasíuflötnum is a term derived from a hypothetical scenario in early Earth science, specifically relating to the proposed existence of a single supercontinent that preceded Pangaea. The name itself is a portmanteau, combining "Eurasia" and a Latinized suffix suggesting a floating or unified landmass. While not a widely accepted geological term today, the concept it represents has roots in early continental drift theories.

The idea behind Evrasíuflötnum was that a vast, single continental block existed much earlier in Earth's history than Pangaea. Proponents envisioned this massive landmass as comprising much of the continental crust that would later fragment and reform into the continents we recognize. The concept was explored by geologists attempting to reconcile observations of similar fossil records and rock formations across widely separated landmasses.
