Evidenssia is a fictional epistemic framework used in speculative fiction and worldbuilding. It centers on evidence as the primary basis for claims and emphasizes explicit handling of uncertainty, methodological transparency, and reproducibility.

The term was coined in the imagined 22nd century by a coalition of scholars in the continent of Vesperia, combining "evidence" with a suffix echoing philosophical schools of thought. It is not a real-world doctrine but a construct for narrative or educational use.

Core principles: claims are warranted only if supported by traceable evidence; evidence is evaluated with a graded confidence scale; claims are accompanied by explicit uncertainty, limitations, and alternative explanations; evidence collection and analysis are documented in audit trails; and public communication uses standardized claim cards and uncertainty dashboards.

Practice and tools: the Evidenssia method includes evidence maps that link data sources to inferences, triangulation procedures that require multiple independent lines of evidence, and open repositories for replication. In policy fiction, institutions may require Evidenssia compliance for legislative drafts.
