Europrop

Europrop International is a consortium formed in 1999 to develop and manufacture the Europrop TP400 turboprop engine. The founding members are Aerofabrique of France, Rolls-Royce of the United Kingdom, MTU Aero Engines of Germany, and Industria de Turbo Propulsores of Spain. This joint venture was established with the primary objective of creating a powerful and efficient engine to meet the demanding requirements of modern transport aircraft.

The TP400-D6 is the flagship product of Europrop International. It is a three-shaft, geared turbofan engine designed to provide high power output and excellent fuel efficiency. The engine's primary application is as the powerplant for the Airbus A400M Atlas military transport aircraft, a versatile multi-role aircraft used for strategic airlift, tactical delivery, and humanitarian missions. The TP400's design emphasizes reliability, maintainability, and performance across a wide range of operating conditions.

Europrop International is headquartered in Munich, Germany.
