Eurooppalaiset

Eurooppalaiset is the Finnish term for Europeans, used to refer to people who live in Europe or have European origins. It functions as a demonym and can describe linguistic, cultural, or regional attributes associated with Europe. The word is formed from eurooppa (Europe) and the adjectival suffix -lainen; the plural form is eurooppalaiset.

Europe is a geographically and culturally diverse region, encompassing numerous countries, languages, and traditions. The continent includes a wide range of languages from multiple families, most notably Indo-European languages such as Germanic, Romance, and Slavic languages, as well as non-Indo-European languages like Finnish (Uralic) and Basque.
