Eurocardsized refers to the practice of adapting or standardizing cards, particularly payment cards, to conform to the Eurocard specifications established in the mid-20th century. This term is most commonly associated with the early development of credit and debit cards in Europe, where a unified physical format was crucial for interoperability across different financial institutions.

The Eurocard system was introduced in the 1960s as an initiative to create a consistent card size and magnetic stripe standard, which would facilitate cross-border transactions. The original Eurocard was a physical card with a magnetic stripe, designed to be compatible with automated teller machines (ATMs) and point-of-sale terminals. Over time, this standard evolved alongside other payment card formats, such as those developed by Visa and Mastercard, leading to the eventual merger of Eurocard with other systems to form what is now known as Mastercard.

The term "Eurocardsized" is rarely used in modern contexts, as the industry has largely shifted toward more generalized payment card standards.
