Estämisjärjestys

Estämisjärjestys, often translated as "blocking order" or "interdiction order" in English, is a legal concept primarily found in Finnish law. It refers to a court order that prohibits a person from approaching or contacting another person. This measure is typically sought to protect individuals from harassment, threats, or violence.

The primary purpose of an estämisjärjestys is to ensure the safety and well-being of the protected person. It is a preventative measure designed to stop potential harm before it occurs.
