Estetiska

Estetiska is the Swedish adjective used to describe things related to aesthetics, beauty, or taste. It is the form used before plural nouns (for example, estetiska värden, estetiska upplevelser) and shares its root with estetik, the Swedish term for aesthetics.

In philosophy, aesthetics is the branch that studies questions about beauty, taste, perception, and the nature and value of art. In Swedish, estetik is the field, while estetiska is the plural-adjective form used to modify plural nouns within that field. The terms estetik and estetiska appear in academic, cultural, and educational contexts, including estetikämnen (arts subjects) in schools and estetiska principer (aesthetic principles) in criticism and design.
