Eramajanduse

Eramajanduse is an Estonian term most closely translated as "private economy" or "private sector." It denotes economic activity organized and owned by private individuals, families, or non-state enterprises rather than by the public sector. The term can encompass small household enterprises, privately owned firms, family farms, and other forms of privately controlled production and service provision.

Historically, use of the concept gained prominence in Estonia and other post-Soviet societies during the transition from centrally planned economies to market-oriented systems in the late 20th century.
