Epäeristetty is a Finnish word that translates to "uninsulated" or "non-insulated" in English. It describes a state of not having any insulating material applied. This can refer to a variety of contexts, including electrical wiring, building materials, or even objects that are not designed to retain heat or prevent its transfer.

In electrical engineering, an uninsulated wire is one that lacks a protective coating of rubber, plastic, or other insulating material.
