Epileptisia

Epileptisia is a condition that affects the brain, causing recurrent seizures or episodes of altered consciousness. The term is not currently used in modern medicine, as it has been replaced by the term epilepsy.

Epileptisia was a term previously used in the medical literature to describe what is now referred to as epilepsy. Over time, the term epileptisia was used to categorize the various forms of seizures and seizures disorders.
