Energiantarpeisiin
Energiantarpeisiin is a Finnish grammatical form used primarily in energy policy and related discourse. It is the illative plural form of energiantarve (energy need, energy demand). The base term energiantarve denotes the overall requirement for energy by a population, economy, or sector, including electricity, heating, transportation fuels, and other energy services. Energiantarpeet is the nominative plural. Energiantarpeisiin is used when the discourse moves toward or references the needs themselves as a target of action, such as investments, measures, or planning steps directed at those needs.
In Finnish, the illative plural suffix -iin attaches to the plural stem energiantarpeet to yield energiantarpeisiin.
