Energiabarjääriä

Energiabarjääri, also known as energy barrier, is a fundamental concept in physics and chemistry describing the minimum amount of energy required for a system to undergo a specific process, such as a chemical reaction or a physical transformation. This energy is often referred to as the activation energy.

In chemical reactions, the energiabarjääri represents the energy that reactant molecules must possess to reach a transition state, an unstable intermediate configuration from which products can be formed.
