Emëradjektivs, also known as noun adjectives or possessive adjectives, are a class of words that modify nouns by indicating possession or relationship. They function similarly to regular adjectives in that they describe or specify a noun, but their primary role is to show who or what owns or is associated with the noun. In many languages, emëradjektivs are distinct words that precede the noun they modify. For example, in English, "my," "your," "his," "her," "its," "our," and "their" are possessive adjectives. They answer the question "whose?".

These words agree in number and sometimes gender with the noun they modify, though this varies greatly between languages. For instance, in Spanish, possessive adjectives like "mi" (my) change depending on the gender and number of the noun, becoming "mis" for plural nouns. In contrast, English possessive adjectives do not change form based on the noun's number or gender, making them simpler in this regard.
