Elektrenai

Elektrenai is a city located in the eastern part of Lithuania, situated approximately 70 kilometers west of the capital Vilnius. It is the administrative center of the Elektrenai municipality. The city's development is intrinsically linked to the construction of the Elektrenai Power Plant, which began in the late 1950s. The town was specifically designed to house the workers of this large industrial facility.
