Eijsden
Eijsden is a town and former municipality in the southeastern Netherlands, in the province of Limburg. It lies on the right bank of the Meuse (Maas) river, just south of Maastricht and opposite Visé across the Belgian border. In 2011 the municipality of Eijsden merged with Margraten to form the new municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, and Eijsden today refers to the town within that municipality.
