Egyptianist

An Egyptianist is a scholar who studies ancient Egypt. This field encompasses a broad range of disciplines, including archaeology, philology, history, art history, and religious studies, all focused on understanding the civilization that flourished along the Nile River for millennia. The term often refers to those who engage in the scholarly investigation of ancient Egyptian artifacts, texts, and monuments.
