Edastades

Edastades is an Estonian verbal form derived from the verb edastama, meaning “to broadcast” or “to transmit.” It is the present adverbial participle, used to express a simultaneous action in relation to the main clause, roughly corresponding to English “while transmitting” or “as [someone] transmits.”

Grammatically, edastades is non-finite and generally shares its subject with the main clause. The form is created by adding the suffix -des to the verb stem, and it is used in more formal or written Estonian.
