Ecohidrología

Ecohidrología is the scientific discipline that studies the interactions between ecological processes and hydrological processes. It seeks to understand how water cycles and water bodies influence ecosystems and, conversely, how ecological components shape and modify water systems. This interdisciplinary field combines principles from ecology, hydrology, geomorphology, and sometimes soil science and atmospheric science.
