EUEEAregulativer refers to the regulatory framework governing the European Union’s Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), particularly focusing on the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) Stability and Growth Pact (SGP). The term is not a standardized official designation but is sometimes used informally to describe the rules and mechanisms that ensure fiscal discipline among member states participating in the eurozone.

The core of the EUEEAregulativer framework is the Stability and Growth Pact, introduced in 1997 to prevent excessive government deficits and debt accumulation. The pact establishes two key rules: a medium-term budgetary objective (MTBO) requiring member states to maintain a budget balance close to balance or in surplus, and a deficit limit of 3% of GDP. Additionally, a debt rule caps public debt at 60% of GDP, though this is more of a reference value than a strict enforcement threshold.

The EUEEAregulativer process involves regular monitoring by the European Commission and the European Central Bank, with periodic assessments of national budgets. If a country violates the deficit rule, the Commission may trigger corrective procedures, including recommendations or fines. The pact has undergone revisions, such as the "Six-Pack" (2011) and the "Two-Pack" (2013), which strengthened enforcement mechanisms and introduced stricter surveillance for countries at risk of breaching fiscal rules.
