Délectrons

Délectrons is a term found mainly in speculative or fictional contexts and is not an established entity in mainstream physics. It is used to denote hypothetical electron-related excitations whose exact properties vary between sources, and there is no single agreed-upon definition. The name appears to be a neologism formed from electron with the prefix dé-, and authors typically specify the intended meaning within their model.

In established science, the familiar concepts are the electron, its antiparticle the positron, and various quasi-particles such as holes in semiconductors and other charge carriers.
