Dwarkadhish

Dwarkadhish is a revered deity in Hinduism, a form of Lord Vishnu. He is primarily worshipped as the king of Dwarka, a sacred city located in the state of Gujarat, India. The name "Dwarkadhish" translates to "Lord of Dwarka."

According to ancient texts, Dwarkadhish is the deity who established his kingdom in Dwarka after his departure from Mathura. His consort is Goddess Rukmini, who is also widely worshipped alongside him. The Dwarkadhish Temple, a prominent pilgrimage site, is dedicated to him and is one of the Char Dham, a set of four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites.

The deity is often depicted with four arms, holding a conch shell (shankha), discus (chakra), mace (gada), and lotus (padma). These attributes symbolize his divine powers and dominion. Devotees believe that worshipping Dwarkadhish bestows blessings of protection, prosperity, and spiritual liberation.
