Duplessis

Duplessis refers to Maurice Duplessis, a prominent figure in Quebec politics. He served as the Premier of Quebec for two non-consecutive terms, from 1936 to 1939 and again from 1944 until his death in 1959. Duplessis was the leader of the Union Nationale party, which he co-founded.
