Dumnonias
Dumnonias was an ancient British kingdom and later a post-Roman Brythonic territory located in what is now Cornwall and parts of Devon in southwest England. The name is derived from the Dumnonii tribe who inhabited the region. Following the Roman withdrawal from Britain in the early 5th century AD, the area likely continued to be governed by native rulers, forming a successor kingdom.
