A domain constraint specifies the data type, format, and acceptable range of values. Another example could be a constraint on a "gender" attribute, limiting the acceptable values to a predefined set like 'Male', 'Female', or 'Other'.

Default values automatically assign a value if none is provided, and enumerations restrict values to a predefined list.
