Dolobid

Dolobid is a brand name historically used for the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diflunisal. Diflunisal is an NSAID indicated for relief of mild to moderate pain and for inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It may also be used for short-term treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain. Diflunisal is taken orally as tablets and, like other NSAIDs, works by reducing the production of prostaglandins through non-selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes, producing analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects.
