Direct3D7
Direct3D 7 is a graphics API developed by Microsoft as part of the DirectX suite. Released in 1999, it was a significant advancement over its predecessors, offering improved performance and new features for 3D graphics rendering. Direct3D 7 introduced support for hardware transform and lighting, which offloaded complex geometric calculations from the CPU to the graphics card, leading to much faster frame rates in games and other applications.
This version of Direct3D also brought enhanced support for textures, including higher resolutions and more advanced
