Dipolimagneetit

Dipolimagneetit is a rare mineral belonging to the spinel group, with the chemical formula (Fe,Mg)2TiO4. It was first discovered in the Kola Peninsula, Russia, and is named for its dipolar magnetic properties and its composition, which includes iron, magnesium, and titanium. Dipolimagneetit is typically found in igneous rocks, such as gabbros and diorites, and is often associated with other minerals like magnetite, ilmenite, and pyroxenes.
