Diodepumpte
Diodepumpte refers to a class of lasers that are excited by semiconductor diodes. This pumping mechanism differs from traditional methods like flashlamps or arc lamps, which are less efficient and generate more heat. In a diodepumped laser, the output of one or more laser diodes is focused onto the gain medium of the laser. This gain medium can be a solid-state material like neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) or ytterbium-doped yttrium silicate (Yb:YAG), or sometimes a gas or fiber.
The primary advantage of diodepumping is its high efficiency. Laser diodes convert electrical energy into light
