Differentialsääntymiselle, often shortened to just "differentialsääntö" in Finnish, refers to the fundamental rules of differentiation in calculus. These rules provide a systematic way to find the derivative of a function, which represents the instantaneous rate of change of that function. The most basic of these rules is the power rule, which states that the derivative of x^n is nx^(n-1).

Another crucial rule is the constant multiple rule, which says that the derivative of c*f(x) is c*f'(x), where c is a constant. The sum and difference rules are also fundamental, allowing us to differentiate sums and differences of functions by differentiating each term separately.
