Dhünn

The Dhünn is a river in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a right-hand tributary of the Wupper River. The Dhünn originates in the Bergisches Land region and flows through the towns of Remscheid and Solingen. The river has a length of approximately 43 kilometers.

The Dhünn plays a significant role in the local landscape, carving out valleys and contributing to the diverse ecosystems of the area. Historically, the river was important for industrial development, particularly for water mills and later for the cutlery industry in Solingen. Remains of old mill structures can still be found along its course.
