Devprayag
Devprayag is a town and municipality in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. It is a sacred town notable as the confluence where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers join to form the River Ganga. This confluence at Devprayag marks the first of the sacred Prayags along the Alaknanda river—together with Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag, and Rudraprayag, it is part of the Panch Prayag.
