Deodoro
Deodoro is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, located in the "Baixada Fluminense" region. It is situated in the north-eastern part of the state, approximately 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) from the city center of Rio de Janeiro. The municipality was formed on March 5, 1948, when it split from the municipality of Duque de Caxias.
